The Caps – and all of us, really – are still reeling a bit from the recent trades that sent John Carlson and Nic Dowd out west. But, as Tom Wilson said yesterday, “tomorrow we’ll wake up and try to go to war for the rest of the year and play hard.” Well, tomorrow has arrived…so we move on. There are still games to be played, and despite moving out some players, a playoff spot within reach.
First step to potentially snagging one will be getting through today’s opponent, a Bruins team that currently sits four points ahead of the Caps in the Wild Card race.
