We are finally one step closer to beginning the 2018 NFL Season. With the 2018 NFL Draft all wrapped up, rookies are starting to get familiar with their new teams. Not including undrafted free agents, the Philadelphia Eagles are welcoming in five new rookies that they spent draft picks on this past weekend.
Heading into the draft, the Eagles were in great shape. Obviously, the Super Bowl champions were looking to draft players to come in and fill depth and develop, rather than relying on rookies to become day one contributors.
This past Thursday night, the Eagles started off with only one selection within the first three rounds.
