NC State Wolfpack (13-5, 6-1 ACC) handled business on the road last night, defeating Wake Forest Demon Deacons (12-7, 2-5 ACC) by a score of 95-77.
Wake Forest jumped out to a 10-point lead at the end of the first quarter and led by as many as 15 points with 5:22 left before halftime, but NC State’s dominant third quarter flipped the game. The Wolfpack outscored the Demon Deacons 32-13 in the third, turning a deficit into full control.
Khamil Pierre recorded her third straight double-double, finishing with 26 points and 14 rebounds. The 26 points marked a season high, while the 14 boards were her most since December 3.
