A five-star prospect in the 2027 class has Clemson on his short list of top schools.
On Tuesday, East Coweta (Sharpsburg, Ga.) safety Chance Gilbert announced his final four schools, with Clemson, Alabama, Georgia and Georgia Tech making the cut.
Gilbert is a five-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite, which touts him as the third-best safety in the country and the No. 33 overall prospect nationally for the 2027 class.
The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder lists more than 20 offers overall.
Gilbert announced an offer from Clemson last June and visited Tigertown for the Tigers’ game against Duke on Nov.
