CULVER – Josh Adams predicts Notre Dame will be scoring at a quicker pace this season.
The junior running back doesn’t see how it couldn’t with the scheme new offensive coordinator Chip Long is implementing, which focuses on a faster tempo than Notre Dame has run in the past.
“We have the potential to score in the first two plays,” Adams said Tuesday following Notre Dame’s first practice of the season at Culver Academies. “Obviously as an offense, that’s what you want, to score as fast as you can.
