MUNCIE, Ind. — The final score was bad, but believe me, this was as entertaining of a game that Ball State has played all season. Or at least in the last month.
Now did all of that have to do Ball State? Certainly not, as Toledo’s high-powered offense shook of a slow start to put on a show.
But not before Ball State’s brightest moment in over a month.
Let’s set the scene: First-place Toledo was in town Thursday night and Ball State was down to its fourth-string quarterback – yet somehow managed to break an absurd touchdown drought and lead for the first time in 33 days.
