MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State released its 2017-18 men's basketball schedule on Thursday, highlighted by four marquee non-conference games.
The Cardinals will play four perennial NCAA Tournament teams: Dayton (Nov. 10), Oklahoma (Nov. 15), Oregon (Nov. 19) and Notre Dame (Dec. 5). This season's slate is a far cry from last season, when Ball State had one of the worst non-conference schedules in the country last season (KenPom.com ranked Ball State's non-conference strength of schedule 350th out of 351 teams). Oregon reached the Final Four last season and the Elite Eight the season before.
