SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Little Rock women's basketball team put together a 19-0 run in the second half at Missouri State on Monday night, changing the game from a tight contest to a comfortable 58-47 win at JQH Arena on Monday night.
With the teams tied at 28-28 with six minutes remaining in the third quarter, the Trojans' offense caught fire. Little Rock (3-4) scored 16 points in those last six minutes including an 11-0 run that saw 6 points from Sharde' Collins, and the Trojans took a 9-point lead into the final period.
That scoring streak expanded to 19-0 in the fourth quarter when the Bears (2-4) went the first four minutes of the period without a basket.
