TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Little Rock volleyball (3-6) took a 3-0 loss (19-25, 23-25, 20-25) to Baylor (5-4) on Friday afternoon at Tully Gymnasium on the campus of Florida State.
Carolee Dillard led the Trojans with nine kills and a .316 hitting percentage on 19 attempts while earning four total blocks. Veronica Marin tallied eight kills, and Edina Selimovic racked up a match-high six blocks with three kills.
The first set was a close one in the early going, but Baylor soon pulled out to an eight-point lead at 22-13. Little Rock finished the set on a 6-3 run, but it was too little, too late as Baylor took the set.
