LAREDO, Texas – Little Rock finished play at the Houston-hosted Border Olympics at Laredo Country Club on Saturday. Originally scheduled as a 54-hole event, the tournament was shortened to 36 holes due to inclement weather.
The Trojans placed 16th in the field with a team score of 591. Baylor placed first with a team score of 556, followed by host Houston (564) in second place.
Matias Calderon finished at even par to lead the Trojans and tie for 29th place overall. George Trujillo ended the event at 3 over par to tie for 52nd place.
